This course includes minor wound care application. This course also identifies dietary supplements, proper repositioning, and proper skin management; key concepts to pressure ulcer prevention.
This course includes hospice after- care, life expectancy goals, dietary, skin management, family dynamics, grieving and denial. This is and overview of a client who is actively transitioning.
This course is to identify proper hand-washing. This a hands-on course that requires return demonstration with competency. You will be checked off by a RN.
This course is SPECIFICALLY geared for NEW hires in adult family homes. This course is required per DHS 88.04(5)(a). 15 hours in total at new hire within 6 months after starting to provide care. This training includes fire safety and first aid.
This course is to identify proper management of the population that you servicing as a healthcare provider.
This course teaches you proper diabetic management. This includes properly checking a blood sugar, insulin administration, dietary management, signs and symptoms of hypo/hyperglycemia, proper skin management, diabetic foot check, and insulin types. This course includes dietary teaching as recommended per the American Diabetes Association. RN delegation is REQUIRED if you are a provider for a diabetic client.
This course teaches you read physician tube feeding orders including water flushes. This course is taught by a RN with troubleshooting capabilities. This is a hands-on course and requires you facilities owner/ house manager and client to be present. This is for G/J TUBE FEEDING/MEDICATIONS ONLY . This is a client specific training course.

This course is a refresher course for Medication Administration, Standard Precautions, Fire Safety, and 1st Aide and Choking. 8 hours of education is required the beginning of EVERY calendar year per DHS 88.04(5)(b) while working in a AFH/CBRF setting.
